January 23, 2021 – The workforce at the West Valley Demonstration Project (WVDP) completed its Annual Food Drive on November 12, as part of their continued commitment to the community.
The goal this year was to collect 120,000 pounds of food – enough to provide turkeys, holiday items and staples for nine food pantries. This year’s Food Drive, which exceeded last year’s goal, collected 125,000 pounds of food, which will help hundreds of families in need during this holiday season. This annual tradition began in 1989, and has been held every year since then. In total, the WVDP Food Drive has collected more than 2 million pounds of food since its inception. Link to article
