DOE Environmental Management Bulletin

September 12, 2017 – “West Valley Takes “First Bite” of Vitrification Facility in Historic Demolition. WVDP workers kicked off the first-ever demolition of a vitrification facility in the DOE complex on Sept. 11. They’ve been getting ready for the historic teardown for years, removing hazards through decontamination and deactivation work.” Link to Bulletin

Press Release – CHBWV Workers Begin Vitrification Facility Demolition

September 12, 2017 – Workers for CH2M HILL BWXT West Valley, LLC (CHBWV) have begun demolition of the Vitrification Facility, a 10,700 square foot reinforced concrete structure at the West Valley Demonstration Project. Link to Press Release
